"I very much enjoyed using this as a "home base" during my week on Oahu. If it seems a little "off to the side," Oahu's big, but not that big. The *furthest* point form the unit, the Northeast of the island, was only two hours away. And the driving views every where... gorgeous. The unit itself was clean, Ms. Bruneau was easy to connect with, and the place was secure. Wondered whether my car would get broken into at some places I visited on the island, but not in the Makaha Valley complex. The security staff are front and present at the entry/exit gate. I got a "hello" and "goodbye" every time I traveled past them. There's no *dedicated* parking spot, so every time I left I had to look for a space when I returned, but I didn't once have to slog from "too far" away. Oh, and they asked for a cash deposit for the parking pass. It's plastic and they want it back. I got my C-note back when I turned it in. The unit's all glass on the outside wall, with blackout curtains if the sun's too bright. Chairs on the balcony are comfortable. TV's got cable, and the unit has working wifi. The kitchenette's fully stocked; no need to buy dishes, glasses, or flatware. Complex has gas grills for anyone to use, so if you're into buying fresh food and grilling it yourself, it's easily doable. Pool's nice too. Surf warnings were in effect most of my stay, and the pool made swimming possible. It's well maintained. If anything, the owners *undersell* this place, in my opinion."

"The property was beautiful. Everything was very clean and well thought out. Beds were comfortable, washer and dryer were a plus and the outside shower. Loved having the beach across the way and loved the porch for morning coffee. Had a perfect stay and would book again. Everyone enjoyed themselves. "

"We wanted somewhere to stay on the north shore that would feel more local and be near the ocean. This little condo delivered. When they say ocean views they aren’t kidding. The beach was 20 feet from the windows! The unit was clean, provided all necessary amenities, comfortable beds, embraced the beach vibe, and what a view! My boys loved that there were twin needs so they didn’t have to share a bed. Super happy with the stay, would definitely book again. "

"This ground-level property was clean and well-maintained.The simple check-in process was so helpful. The host was wonderful and helpful. This property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Depending on how fast you walk you can get to the beach in 3-5 minutes. There are several beach areas within 15 minutes driving and 2 or 3 that you could walk to in 3-15 minutes. The kitchen was tidy, stocked with all of the essentials. I loved having laundry available in the apt. The pool was cute and very close, though i did not use it. The community is gated, adding to safety and the host was waiting for me when I arrived making it all very simple. I loved having a few beach items available for use! Those came in very handy! I would recommend and would stay again. This would be a good place to bring children as well, noting that there is 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. The sliding glass door opens to a backyard area next to the gorgeous golf course. "
