"This will be a repeat location. After expecting a noisy finish to the day we were not disappointed. Expecting it and being surprised by it are two different things. The next 6 nights we slept like babies, used to it. What a beautiful place and location. It’s our Portugal FAVORITE vacay for the future. Just it’s really hard to get!!!"

"We wanted a place to stay for 3 weeks to enjoy the town, sunshine and day trips. House is central to everything. We weee able to cook lots of meals as kitchen is well set up. The house is dark as it is surrounded by buildings. You need to be comfortable opening the shutters on the ground d level. "

"This is a lovely property that is very close to the beach and a 5 min cycle ride to Monte Gordo. There is also a nearby shop attached to a cafe that is perfect for essentials. The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"Overall I was satisfied with the house , place was well furnished , location was great and plenty of restaurants nearby ( I’d say Dunas was my favourite). My only gripe was the extra slim beds ( all four the same)…I’m 5’ 11” ( 180 lbs) and couldn’t feel comfortable sleeping in those beds. It’s time to get at least a queen size bed to attain a perfect score."

"We were very pleased with our decision to stay here. Lots of room for 4 adults with diverse sleeping preferences. Some liked to sleep in the full dark, others preferred to see the sunrise. Great location within walking distance of the park and the beach and downtown Monte Gordo. Nice market close by with almost everything we needed, and a short drive to larger grocery stores like Aldi in Tavira and San Antonio. Unfortunately too cool (even for Canadians!) to use the pool but we enjoyed the...
