"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...

"Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. The nearest town Sciciliis a fantastic place to eat in the evening as it is only a 12 minute drive and has so many good restaurants. The pool is really a plunge pool but good enough for cooling...

"This is a good villa in a quiet location away from the main tourist areas. "Pros: nice small pool, the view, the waves 10-15 meters from house, friendly owner. Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out.
