"Sympathetically designed hotel giving excellent accommodation coupled with wonderfully maintained garden areas which were full of wildlife. Convenient for Puerto Jimenez airport and town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great night tours, fishing trips which set off from private jetty were very popular and that was also a great place for a sundowner!"

"We stayed at Cabanas Tropicales before and after our overnight stay in Corcovado. The owner and manager were both very kind and very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage here while we were trekking in the park. The location is great. Close to the beach and good restaurants and only a short walk to town. The room is basic with air con and a fan and they offer hot water in the shower if you want it. Simple kitchen to use if you need with free coffee and tea. The grounds are beautiful. Many flowers and plants. Lots of birds in the area. It feels like an oasis. Highly recommend this place for a simple and affordable place to land while in Jimenez."

"My wife and I had an incredible stay here. The place was spacious and well appointed. We made all our meals and enjoyed while watching the moneys play in the trees above. As many others have mentioned the drive in is part of the adventure and you'll want a high clearance 4x4. The beach is a short walk away and also full of wildlife. The Kig Luis waterfall is well worth the hike. Isaac and his wife were awesome and very responsive. Love this place and Costa Rica!"
