All amenities have been provided, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast and basics to cook your own meals. This is really a true gem in the heart of Taranaki and we will surely be back. "The accommodation was as advertised. No unpleasant surprises. Wood fire kept the house cozy. We were there late autumn, it would have been a great addition to have a wall heater in the bathroom which was outside on the back porch. Otherwise I would recommend a stay for those who can tolerant Taranaki temperatures. The easy close walk to the Whangamomona Hotel was the icing on the cake."

"It's an old shop so it's a bit worn, but it has more than everything you need for a comfortable stay. Good fireplace and lots of firewood, books, magazines, games. Breakfast provisions laid on which was unexpected but very convenient. Good shower. Less than a 1 minute walk to the pub for meals."
