"We were super-impressed with this property. Very tastefully renovated to a high standard and furnished with period pieces in keeping with the age of the building. Everything you could possibly need was supplied, including beach towels and coffee machine. I for one will be returning sometime! Debbie is a gem and very friendly and helpful. I left a paid or sandals under the dining table and she very kindly sent them to be by courier - thanks so much Debbie!"

"Kay’s place is awesome! The view cannot be beat, the entire place is meticulously clean, and the couches/beds are very comfortable. We had a relaxing week at Kay’s, and we loved staying within walking distance to town, the beach, and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Never used the kayaks, but we appreciated having plenty of towels for the beach or bath. Also, the kitchen included all of the cooking supplies we needed, and the BBQ was spotless (as well as the whole house). We were in NZ for 5 weeks,...

"We loved our stay here so much!! Place is in excellent condition and hosts are great with communication. The breakfast included is incredibly thoughtful and was very handy for us. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). "

"My deluxe suite room, with spa bath, was just lovely. The view from the deck was of lovely trees, and you could see birds playing on the lawn. The whole room was spotless and furnishings were new and comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. The staff very friendly and helpful.
