"The hotel is dated and renovation works seems to be ongoing. Can hear hammering sounds in the daytime throughout our stay. Rooms are bad soundproofing, can hear next door guests talking. Heavy bass from nearby disco can also be heard from 9.30-10pm onwards(our room is seaview facing), not nice if you are light sleeper. Breakfast varieties are ok with enough sitting area. WiFi is very good. Shopping malls are just opposite the hotel with roads in between, which can be quite tricky to cross...

"It’s surprising to find a property with minimalist interior design yet comfort and convenience are not compromised. I love the decor from the moment I stepped into the ground floor guests waiting area, to the first floor where the reception and the cafe are located, and finally into the room I was assigned. "Nous avons séjournés deux nuits au Nest House. Nous n’avons que de bonne chose à dire sur cet hôtel boutique. Le personnel est avenant, notre chambre était très confortable. Nous avions accès à divers produits café, thé même des nouilles dans une cuisinette à côté de la réception. Frigo, bouilloire, micro-ondes. Nous pouvions aussi disposer d’une belle terrasse sur le toit avec tables et fauteuils. L’endroit est un peu en retrait de la rue principale ce qui ajoute au calme.."

"I recently stayed at The Pines Melaka for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive to and from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive. "Great location. Very efficient, polite staff. Interesting and comfortable lounge/foyer area. Clean and comfort rooms with everything you need. (The laundry service was wonderful). The only thing to note is that the ground floor room we had looked out onto a walkway and so we didn’t open our shutters for privacy reasons. I’d stay here again and would recommend this hotel but ask for an upstairs room. "

"Staffs were polite and helpul. Breakfast selection very limited. No aircon along corridor, so will be a little bit warm. Furnitures are old, sofa cushion with a lot of stains. However, the room aircon is very quiet. "

"Loved the stay here. Rooms were spacious and staff were very friendly. Its in Little India but its very near to the famous locations in Melaka. The toilets are also very clean and the heaters are working perfectly. Overall, great stay, will come back!"

"Generally a good stay with efficient, friendly staff. My only issues were the air con which was a very warm 22C and i had to lower to 16C to get an acceptable coolness. The hot water in the shower was at best lukewarm. Location is excellent."

"A very straightforward hotel. No frills. Simple rooms but with lovely new bathroom and rainforest shower. Despite simplicity it supplied everything, very good value for money, only $5/6 to Jonkers walk in a Grab taxi. Really nice music in foyer and by pool. Pool wasn’t amazing but it was quiet - I had it all to myself so 👍 Bed was comfy. "

"The treatment from the hotel staff is very disappointed, especially those at the front desk. employee professionalism needs to be improved. No tolerance from employees.I should have checked in 3 days at this hotel. But because I was disappointed with their attitude, I decide to move to another hotel on the second day’s without any refund. "
