"We stayed two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was nice and comfortable and the view from our second floor room was breathtaking. We also really enjoyed and appreciated the breakfasts! The staff was friendly and accomodating. We arrived after dark tired from a long day of traveling and were greeted warmly. When we conveyed that we'd had no dinner the receptionist shared her dinner with us. That kind and generous gesture was certainly unexpected and absolutely delightful! One thing to note is that communicating your arrival via phone or WhatsApp is helpful. We found it a bit tricky to initially get into the compound because there is a closed gate that you only can operate yourself after checking in. The good news is that the phone number to reception is posted outside the gate and staff is responsive when called. After making that initial contact we were connected via WhatsApp and that made communication so easy. This became especially helpful when we needed information about local medical services we were given a referral and offers of assistance if needed. The personal concern and homey atmosphere were comforting. Our expections were exceeded! "

"This property is extremely beautiful with unbelievable views of the ocean, local fauna, and sunsets every evening! We wish we had stayed in the summer so we could have played in the water and enjoyed the beach more. That being said, during our mid-September stay, every morning we were privileged with the view of a pod of dolphins right outside the cabin windows, countless birds, and some of the biggest bumblebees we’ve ever seen flitting around the garden of gorgeous flowers that the owners cultivated. Due to it being late winter/early spring in Chile the area and cabin was somewhat cold but accommodations solved that. The owners were consistently receptive to our needs, readily available when needed - going so far to come out of their way to refill or replace gas tanks when we needed - and even took the time to get to know us and share good places to visit while we were there! The property itself is about five minutes down a dirt road so be prepared for a somewhat bumpy, but totally worth it ride. There are shops less than fifteen minutes away and the town of Puerto Montt (about 30 minutes away) has an amazing waterfront with countless artisan street vendors, activities, food options, and the biggest mall in Chile (we did get lost a couple times in that mall). Overall the three of us (myself, my husband, and my daughter) were initially surprised by how rural the location and cabin was but quickly found ourselves loving it. Definitely our favorite stay of the two week trip!"

"Some aspects of the hotel are in disrepair (ie. door handles, one of the numbers for my room number was missing). The only real complaint I had, which I shared at reception and they received the feedback well, was that I placed the do not disturb sign on my door before leaving for an activity during the day; I had all my belongings spread over the room and I did not have the energy or time to put them away. While I was gone, the cleaning staff entered the room to clean. Nothing was missing, but it did feel like a boundary was not respected. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many options. And the staff I interacted with was quite friendly. I had a rental car and their private parking lot was safe. "
