"The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with an attentive and flexible staff who adjusted breakfast times for an early excursion which they helped us book (a 360 island tour which was also excellent and reasonably priced compared to similar options). They were also very flexible with early check-in and departure. All around a great value for our short stay in San Cristobal."

"The hotel is located very close to the airport. It is worth the extra money for a beautiful ocean view. You can see the seals playing in the water and hear them throughout the day. It is the perfect walking distance to everything you could need. There is a small cafe that also has everyday essentials (soap, sun screen, aloe vera, drinks, snacks, alcohol, etc). The hotel also offers breakfast, however if you have a tour scheduled you have the option for a box lunch. This is very convenient and comes with a juice, apple, and pack of cookies which you can place in your fridge over night. Additionally, the hotel is located right across the way from the area in which the tours meet. The air conditioner in the room is perfect, and the hotel also provides complementary drinking water both in your room and downstairs. It is an extremely safe area, where everyone is extremely friendly. "

"While San Cristobal doesn't have a huge infrastructure, the Hotel Eco Friendly was a great spot for our family. The hotel felt very safe and quiet with an incredibly welcoming staff, delicious breakfast and comfortable rooms. It was clean and relaxing and a short walk downhill to town. There is access to a washing machine as well as spots to hang wet items from your days on the water. I will add if you have a cat allergy there are MANY cats at this hotel (and all over town) so that might be something to consider. We loved it here and I would highly recommend!"

"Note that this review is based on a father and 5yr old son travelling in the Galapagos Islands. Booking for San Cristobal was rather last minute and when the search results highlighted this property for budget, location, and cleanliness / comfort, I selected it. I knew the moment we walked in we had made the right decision. The family run hotel was really good. As we were out all day, every day, when we come back we want a comfortable, clean bed, some aircon, and a hot shower. There was one double bed for us and we both slept well. The shower was good but don't look at appearances, it works. The family were so kind and friendly towards us that they merit an additional mention. We were welcomed and made to feel very much at home. It's not far from the main street and ferry, there are laundries, some shops, and a wonderful bakery close to the place."

"Possibly the best lodging in all of the Galapagos. Fantastic rooms with gorgeous views of the ocean and nearby sea lions. Joao at the front desk helped us plan all our island excursions and made us feel at home. "

"The owners who run this hotel are fantastic! The rooms were incredibly clean and well serviced. They have extras like tea and coffee and fridge available. They are open and friendly and willing to help in any way! I would highly recommend this place."
