"We had a good time in and around Fontane Bianche, where the seasonal facilities began to open during our stay. The sandy beach is close by, down a footpath with 14 steps, and the ice cream shop is even closer. There is a small food shop in the village (450m); various facilities in Cassibile (<3km); and bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of Avola. "The accommodation is perfect. Every bedroom is a good size, each has a TV with Netflix, and all proper double beds. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, and the welcome package contained really useful and sensible things like spaghetti and passatta, wine amongst other things. Definitely the most thought through and generous welcome hamper/ package I have experienced.
