"Wow!!! What can I say about this cottage that hasn’t been already said. This is by far an absolute hidden gem. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and memorable. From the sweet treats upon arrival to John showing us how the dairy farm works. And we really loved the pups, they greeted us everyday when we got back. The only downfall about this cottage, is having to leave. We are already planning another trip. Thank you so much, Deidre and John!! "

"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

The cottage outside is vintage and inside is refurbished and equipped with every thing you might need for a comfortable stay. Our host, Catherine, was delightful and shared lots of local information. "First time staying back here in a good few years. Hotel is as nice as ever, well maintained. The area around the hotel has been significantly build up since I was last here, but very safe. There is a convenience store very close by. Breakfast in the hotel was very good an dour room was excellent. We stayed in one of the suites adjacent to the hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a cigarette disposal at the entrance to the suites which was over flowing for the 3 days we...

"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "
