"The proprietor, Federico, is wonderful and answered all of our questions. He will line up transportation from airport if you want and it’s cheaper than a taxi. He directed us to transportation to Pompeii, etc. and lined up a driver for us on one day. This part of Naples felt very safe. It is walkable and close to restaurants, gelato and espresso and only a few minutes from the Galleria and the funicular to Castle of St. Elmo. "Amazing stay in Villa Gianlica ! The hotel is scrupulously clean and so quiet and peaceful. Our room was completely on its own with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea. Everywhere else around is so busy so the hotel is absolutely perfect to relax in. All the staff were so helpful, you feel that they are your friends. We had a problem with our car to the airport not turning up and Marika spent nearly 1.5 hours trying to get us a car to catch our flight, if it had not been for her we would have...

The wash basin is as small as a large bread loaf pan. We had little bit of trouble with the hot water as well. The area is near train station so convenient . But the area is a little bit dirty.
