"We were warmly greeted by Uche(sp). She showed us our apartment which was large and well equipped. Food items to prepare were waiting for us in the kitchen: pasta, sauce, bread, juice, beer. The farmhouse garage area is like a museum with sleighs and old farm equipment. The bathroom was large. There was a washing machine, but we were asked not to use it. Not sure why. "Das Bauernhaus am Staffelsee hat Charme, Stil und Geschichte. Alle Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Und aus jedem Fenstern schaut man auf eine fast schon kitschige bayrische Idylle mit Kirchturm, Wiesen, Pferden, Kühen und Hühnern. Das Haus war blitzsauber und die Vermieterin freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zu sechst zum Fahrradfahren da und haben alle Seen im Umkreis und natürlich die schönen Orte Garmisch und Oberammergau mit dem Radl erkundet. Immer wieder gern."

"The apartment was conveniently located for our visiting purposes. The apartment was surprisingly large and had all needed appliances except for a washer and dryer. The apartment was extremely clean and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. As far as checking in, if my son did not live in the area to retrieve the key before 7pm, I don't know how I would have gotten the key with the long trip I had had for the day.
