"We were picked up from the pier by hotel staff and were taken on a short walk on the beach to our hotel. We found our room clean and comfortable and were forever grateful for a perfectly working air con. All staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful at all times. The restaurant served delicious food and there was a good choice of local and western dishes. You do feel a little isolated from the rest of the island but then we thought that the Pagoda beach was the nicest on the whole island. We would definitely stay again."

"Amazing, going home and thinking how soon can I get back here? A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "

"We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return! "

"I was generally impressed and pleased with my stay at the hotel. My only suggestion for improvement is the buffet breakfast. It is probably a matter of personal taste, I felt that the noodle soup lacked taste. "

"This is a nice peaceful resort. Only 20 minute walk along beach to bars/restaurants. The Staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The beach in front is kept very clean by the resort. Breakfast good. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. We took a dome room on the beach. All the rooms have nice little patios. Good housekeeping. Would come back."
