"We have just returned from a truly wonderful week staying at the Auberge. From the moment we arrived, to our very early departure, all staff members went out of their way to assist us; whether making arrangements to collect us from the bus station, to booking tickets on our behalf, or offering recommendations on places to visit. This hotel feels like a genuine family-run affair with a sensitivity to guests needs without being intrusive. The hotel itself is well located on the outskirts of the busier resort of Courmayeur. It has a quaint charm about it, with cosy places to snuggle by the fire and a well-designed pool and spa. The rooms are presented to a high standard with plenty of space to hang clothes and to sit and soak up the views. Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold options, and staff were willing to accommodate our dietary needs, with nothing being too much trouble (vegetarian). The on-call shuttle bus to Courmayeur and the various ski lifts was a real bonus and we took much enjoyment in the stories/conversations we had with the staff throughout our trips. The ease of distance to Mont Blanc cable car was a particular highlight. My only hesitation in recommending this property is that it will be fully-booked when we try and return!!!! Wonderful, tranquil and restorative hotel and experience. Thank you for making our visit so special and for answering our many questions. We will visit again with family and friends. "We stayed in a few other properties while in Courmayeur and absolutely fell in love with Chalet Svizzero . It was so warm and welcoming. The alpine aesthetic set the tone along with a fire in the central living room fireplace and Johnson pouring drinks from the charming bar. Breakfast,skiing,spa and a nightcap at the bar- all delightful! We will definitely be back ! Thank you all! The Carroll family"

"Had a lovely stay at Maison La Saixe! The owner was very kind and helpful and the room was nice. Quaint hotel with cool decorations and the breakfast was also amazing. Only down side is it’s a little far from the main town of Courmayeur (about 12 min walk). Overall really enjoyed my stay and would recommend staying here!"
