"Honestly we were a bit concerned reading some of the reviews before our trip but our stay was fine! Reception staff friendly, check in and out process easy. The room was clean and tidied daily, breakfast was good. Nice balcony views. Sauna not working during our stay but other spa facilities were fine. No boot dryers in the ski lockers which would be a good thing to improve on."

"The place is very ran down. The staff is very rude, specially Olivia and sonele. They screamed at me because they made a mistake on their end regarding the breakfast. The food tastes worse than hospital or school food. No hospitality at all. The beds and pillows were the level of a hostel. The bathroom had no soap. "It was an amazing week in La Plagne. Perfect location, ski-in and ski-out, apartments were clean and cozying. Very friendly people on reception met us and helped with accommodation. I was a little disappointed that the apartment did not have such things as slippers (floor was quite cold without it), soap, WiFi, dishwasher detergent. It is not very expensive but might make a rest more comfortable."

"Property is very clean and modern, room is decent size. I was worried I’ll hear the lobby party in my room - not even a bit! Plus party ends at reasonable hour, very thoughtful of guests who are tired after skiing. "Hotel was great, staff were very friendly. Be aware you have to book dinner even though its a buffet, we weren't told about this and went to the buffet 2 nights got sat fine then rest of the nights had a 45 min -1 hour wait, after skiing you are definitely tired and don't want to be waiting to eat. I did tell the manager that I felt this should be told at check in so that people can pre plan their meal times."

"We were two families of 4, with children ranging from 13-17 who spent a lovely week at the Centaure Apartments in Belle Plagne. Check in was super easy with communication from the property manager who was on hand to promptly respond to any questions we had. Location was great for ski in ski out and apartment was well equipped for us. A very enjoyable stay, thank you! "

"Excellent apartment, accurate description, APascal sent useful information in advance, provided linen etc. as requested, and was available in case of any issues.This was our first time in 1800 and would recommend this apartment. Stairs were fun "

Chalet in the center of Montchavin-La Plagne facing south facing slopes and mountains

Well equipped chalet in lovely village

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need nightclubs! Chalet really spacious and well equipped- including boot heaters which I wasn’t expecting. We hope to go back again."
