"I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. "Went with my 5 year old son - ski trip. Located quite far from the main square, so had to drive there every day. Room was clean and warm. Very basic. No duvets, just blankets. Dinner was excellent - proper home cooked food. Lots of choice. Breakfast - OK. Nothing warm. No meats or cheese either. Croissants, toast, cereals. We were on a half board basis and to our surprise we got given a packed lunch: basic baguette sandwich, nuts and a drink (coke/fanta/aquarius)."
