My purpose for my stay was to hike the Dolomites and I was looking forward to the spa and sauna after a long day of hiking. When I asked the owner how to get to the sauna she said that it’s an additional charge (more than I was willing to spend) and would take 1.5 hours to get ready. "The two biggest surprises were Viktor, their 3 day a week hiking guide, and how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were in planning our hikes and how to get there. "Great location for exploring the Dolomites. We stayed here for four nights and used it as our base for hiking in the area. The hotel is in a great spot - there’s a paved walking/biking trail just down from the place that leads right into Cortina (~15 min walk). We easily walked to have supper many evenings. The breakfast selection was good - freshly baked cakes each day that were delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Would recommend and would stay again! "
