Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! "Me and my fiance had just an amazing time. The owners were great with communication and helped with getting fire wood for the pit out back. The view and seclusion was everything we wanted. The local towns have plenty to eat and do in the area. No Ubers or lyfts in the area so keep that in mind when going out at night. I can't recommend this place more. They even left slippers at the door."

The owner has done a great job labeling swiches, etc. so that you can settle in right away. She warns about the need to adjust the water temperature because the hot water is very hot. Heed the warning. You will find everything you need is accessible in this home. We will be returning."

"I have wanted to stay in one of these vintage vacation cottages for years. We happened to see this listing for an upcoming trip to West Point. I highly recommend staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here."
