"Location is everything and the Feathers is right in the heart of the very lovely Helmsley. Room was very comfortable in an annex at the back of the property. The breakfast was very good, the chef can poach an egg properly which can often be a challenge. Only down side is limited parking, although there are options for free parking at the end of the main square."

"Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. Fresh juice and tea and coffee only downside you had to pay extra for a latte but not a big deal. Price was perfect as well. The village itself is beautiful so peaceful and quiet. Will be...

"A great stay at the Green Dragon. Lovely pub with rooms in a great area. Room was decent for what I was after although with the hot weather, it did get pretty warm during the night. Very comfortable though, clean and nice decor. The pub had a great selection of food and beers and I took advantage of both of these. Great home cooked food. "Cant fault this place apart from the full breakfast coming without beans, but this was soon rectified. A vegan breakfast with oat milk was provided no problem."
