"We found the hotel fairly easily, its not too far from the train station and situated along the waterfront. A lot of restaurants and venue's including a cinema are close by and a wide walk way is at the front of the property. We were visiting Lincoln for my birthday and found this hotel to be close to the areas we wanted to see. The room was fine, large bed, big enough shower and nice and clean. "The rooms were huge, spacious and very comfortable. heating and cooling options were great. The lobby and bar areas were done up beautifully for Christmas. We arrived at 2.30pm and they wouldn’t let us check in until 3pm which was a bit annoying. Many of the lamps in the room didn’t work which made reading in bed hard as the room was very dark. "Great Hotel, warm friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Restaurant has nice views over Brayford pool and Lincoln centre up to the cathedral. Good location amongst bars and restaurants. Couple of small things to be improved upon, the speakers in the restaurant need a good clean as spiders webs visible. The eggs at breakfast had been cooked fresh but left under a heat lamp so gone hard unfortunately. Overall a very comfortable night and I will be definitely staying again. "

"A lovely spot by the duck pond and very peaceful, the lodge was lovely and clean and couldnt of asked for a better stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub, feeding the ducks and an autumnal bbq. M&D were great hosts with good comms. We were reluctant to pay the expensive prices for the entertainment but this didnt spoil our short break as we enjoyed our time in the lodge regardless."
