"We enjoyed our stay at the Meeting House in Carlton Landing. The only negative was that it was noisy at times due to room being above the bar….but definitely not a deal breaker."

"For the most part, the stay was good—good location in the community, room was clean. The bed was awful and appeared to be broken. I would have liked extra towels and toiletries. Note: it can be noisy from the downstairs restaurant and hard to sleep, also woke up early to noise from opening restaurant for breakfast. "

"This was perfect. The location to our family reunion at Pickens Lake campground was so easy for us. Having our dog with us was a big part of the goal for our stay. The only hotel I would consider does not allow dogs and the security of us at The Shady Rest gave me peace of mind. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. I highly recommend to anyone going to visit Lake Eufala "

"My friends and I loved having our annual retreat at this house. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, it had everything we needed. There is a jacuzzi on the back porch overlooking a private lake and wooded area. There are paddle boats to enjoy and the lake is stocked with catfish. The owner is available and gracious. Highly recommend!! "
