"This hotel was very quiet, safe, and close to freeway. The bed was really comfortable and i have back issues so i was extremely happy to have a supportive mattress. The hotel isnt fancy but it does have everything you can need. It had much better cable tv and remote than a hotel that had cost me twice as much. The microwave was very clean and the bed was very clean and fresh. They allow pets for a small charge too. There is a nice deli in the gas station across the street that has delicious fresh sandwiches and burritos and pastries. Yum !!! There is also a small pond and nice grassy area behind the hotel which is great to walk your dog or kids to play."

"Lovely cabin in a peaceful location. Enjoyed the serenity of the woods and lake. Nice fire pit with swing seats surrounding it. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. Great amenities - thanks for the coffee, pancake mix and fresh eggs!"

"The cabin was great! Clean and comfortable! Access to pond with paddle boats and kayaks was definitely a plus!!! My kids definitely enjoyed all the extras, axe throwing and hammocks especially! Thank you again for the great stay!"

"Independence Stay is located in the heart of Carlton Landing. During my stay I was afforded fabulous weather and walked the community several times. The house was very clean and had everything I would need. Even extra trash bags! The rockers on the front porch were well used and the upstairs television and sectional made for fun movie nights. Communication was quick and informative. I'd definitely stay here again!"
