"I can’t say enough great things about this property. Having your own private pool with outside kitchen makes it a perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed having the hot tub as well and the separate pool house with huge projection screen was great for movie nights. We will be reserving this house for next summer as soon as we get home. "

"House overall was nice great location. Needs some TLC. Yard upon entry is dirt. Trash upstairs was not emptied prior to our arrival. Property is advertised to sleep 10 however there is one 3 person sofa in living room and only 6 barstools. Would also be nice upstairs to have somewhere to hang or unpack clothes. Home did not have any closets or dressers. All in all the house was cute, excellent location, just a bit tight for 10 people."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful area. There were only a couple of minor things that we would have preferred been different. 1) no water pressure in kitchen sink; 2) the double-size mattress has seen better days; 3) the sustain peddle on the piano doesn't work. I was thrilled when I saw that there was a piano, but it wasn't in working condition; 4) it would be nice if the front porch steps had a hand rail. But overall, very pleasant stay."

"I freaking loved this place!!! Everything was amazing!!! We showed up to the cabin with a welcoming note and a bowl of candy. The cabin was clean and the beds were so comfy. After we departed, the host, amazing woman by the way, called me and thanked us for just picking up behind ourselves (something I thought was common), but she was very appreciative. We will definitely be going back!"

"We love visiting Carlton Landing for a relaxing escape. Crew’s Cottage was our favorite house to date! It had the perfect space for 6 adults and 2 kids. It was also stocked with everything we needed and more! Micah was available throughout our stay and very responsive! "Beautiful house, spacious, and well decorated. They made sure we had everything we could have needed. There was even an "incase you forgot it" box. The patio area is perfect with a firepit for the kiddos to make smores. The stairs for the walk down to the lake were well kept and it was a great fishing area. It was the perfect weekend getaway for the family. The grill could use a little TLC but still worked out for us to cook burgers. Would definitely recommended this place and stay here again. "

"This was perfect. The location to our family reunion at Pickens Lake campground was so easy for us. Having our dog with us was a big part of the goal for our stay. The only hotel I would consider does not allow dogs and the security of us at The Shady Rest gave me peace of mind. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. I highly recommend to anyone going to visit Lake Eufala "

"My friends and I loved having our annual retreat at this house. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, it had everything we needed. There is a jacuzzi on the back porch overlooking a private lake and wooded area. There are paddle boats to enjoy and the lake is stocked with catfish. The owner is available and gracious. Highly recommend!! "
