"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! "The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. "The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "
