"Just returned from a lovely holiday at Bovisand. The views across Plymouth sound were amazing and the kids had a great time. Everything was just as described and our hosts were everything you could ask for. I only had very minor issues. The first being the road into the estate is not for the faint hearted, very narrow single track road with limited visibilty. Had a couple of near misses with drivers driving too fast. The only other issue was a lack of facilities for young kids. They loved...

"Just what we wanted. We were so lucky with the weather, that we were able to sit out on the patio every day. Just watching all sorts of activities going on, on the water. Maggie, was lovely to chat to. Lovely accommodation, lovely spot."

"We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀"

"The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "

"This is a lovely house in a great location with wonderful views over the cliffs and the sea. Quiet hamlet but good places nearby for shopping, lunches out, alternative bays for swimming. Walks from the door and other locations. Very nicely designed and equipped house. Suits group of friends, with indoor and rooftop places to chill and admire the view. Likely also good for a family. Owners are lovely and always very helpful"
