"The condition of our room was quite rough. The furniture was worn and the bathroom door did not provide complete privacy. The top of the door had a huge gap between it and the frame. For the price, this was a great find!"

"Our stay was very nice. The rooms very comfortable. My husband was working some of the time. Only negative was the desk chair. It is really not made for a desk chair and it WP was hard to work out of the occasional chair. Something you may want to review. We will definitely stay there again. "

"I wish the TVs either had a CD player or streaming options, just a little outdated and small for my taste. I also had no luck connecting to the WiFi but that could’ve just been my phone messing up, we only stayed one night so it wasn’t a big deal. I want to say thanks to Corei, She was very nice and helpful through text when we wanted a few more pillows. Overall a good stay (we came in off season) "

"Wife and I spent the weekend for our 31st Anniversary. Off season and quiet but that’s the way I planned it. Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Will be back this summer during the tourist season when the island will be hopping. Recommend Blackbeards Lodge to any and all "

"Awesome location."

"I came out for work the next day but those plans were cancelled due to 8 inches of snow! Fortunately, the room was great. Rome was warm and comfortable even though they're generally is no staff at this location. I would definitely stay again."

"Booked our room at the last minute on our way over on the ferry. It was clean but very out dated. Bed was comfortable and it was close to shops and restaurants. Beautiful view of the harbor!"

"Little House by the Ferry was exactly as described. We wanted a weekend holiday get-away in the off-season and this trip hit the mark. The cottage is as shown in the photos and description.
