"What a cute spot! We loved staying at Chad & Vicki’s cabin. It offers all the amenities you’d appreciate having at home, while still feeling like a modern cabin getaway. Just enough space, nice furnishings, bed and pillows are comfy, cable TV and WiFi . . . But then you step out the door and take in the rolling land that is the Driftless, and you know you’re somewhere special. We’d definitely stay again! With close proximity to a few of the more popular towns in the area, this is a great homebase for those that want to be out enjoying the area - while simultaneously having a comfy spot to call ‘home.’"

"We really enjoy this hotel and have gotten the jacuzzi room two times now. We love the woodsy look of the place and the spacious layout. It feels like a getaway even though it's right near the city. The only downside is that you can't light block the shades as they are just blinders to open and close, and I am sensitive to light. In some places in the bathroom the wallpaper is peeling away somewhat. But these are relatively mild criticisms in light of how enjoyable stay it has been for us. "

"This is an average motel , the reason I recommend the Welch motel is , I've paid more and got less ... When you need a place to stay to shower , watch a couple movies ,and sleep .This is the place ..It's clean ,comfortable ... Not a nightmare "
