"Amazing stay at the Pier House! Staff were so kind and attentive. Rooms brand new - spacious and comfortable. Right on the beach, coastal walk. And restaurant delightful - generous portions of wonderful local foods and great wine. Lively scene indoors and out, yet peaceful and quiet up in room. I highly recommend and look forward to returning. "

"Room was cold ..no radiator just a small electric fan heater ...location is good ..very good views of the coast ...breakfast was not included in the price either ...building in need of a lick of paint but otherwise enjoyed our stay...friendly staff too ."

"Room was spacious, but lacking a couple of items to make the stay easier. Full length mirror would have been ideal, a dresser table with vanity mirror. The towels were somewhat thread bare and as for bath towels, on the small side, but the shower was good, plenty of power. Had to clean out the ceiling extractor fan as it was clogged up with built up dust (it won't work efficiently if blocked up!) A little attention to detail would not go a miss. St Ives "
