"Early April is just at the cusp of spring in this area. There were lots of people heading to the state park on Saturday, despite the damp weather. We were visiting Penn State, which had lots of different events scheduled and enjoyed being close to campus ( 15 mins) but also miles away from the crowds with our two children and one dog. "Comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. We loved catching up on movies we never watched and taking hikes on the quiet roads. Lots of deer to watch. Off the beaten path a bit but plenty of good restaurants within a 15-20 min drive. Would definitely visit again!"
