"I have fallen in love with Millie's place! We came here a year ago with our Beagle Lab mix who was battling cancer. It's very healing here. I came back this past weekend to work on my mystery novel, based in Hope's Bay (my fictional town that I based Lexington on. Got so much work done in the heated covered porch. Even with cold and rain, it was so nice and cozy in there! Magical!"

"The Boathouse was delightful. The property was clean and well situated. It was well appointed and very clean, with everything we needed and nicely decorated. The communication from the property owner was timely and accurate. We had a lovely time and plan to stay here again as we enjoy this area of Michigan very much. "

"The house was clean, had a dock in the back yard that was convenient for boating and a nice room to hang out and watch TV. Note, that the third bedroom is in a detached shed, it was nice and clean but I missed the description that indicated it's in a detached bunkhouse."

"By far the best feature of this home was easy access to the beach for my grandsons! It was a short and safe walk. The kitchen was efficient and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and large. The layout required a lot of stair-climbings, but short trips. We had beautiful weather all week, but typical warm humid summer days made the lake water welcome!"

"We stayed for a weekend in this property with another couple and had a great time. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The host was communicative and the location was amazing. Just a short walk down the street for beach access to Lake Huron and a five minute drive into Lexington for restaurants and shopping. Overall, we had a great experience."
