"The view from this location is stunning and the beach is beautiful. A few things I wish we would have know before we went: 1. When we got to the house their was no fresh water. Be sure you pick up a 5 gallon jug of water before you come to the home. 2. Due to high rains the roads were flooded so it took as quite a while to get to and from the grocery store. "We were looking for a place to stay that was comfortable but far away from resorts and other people. That is exactly what we got! Nancy and her caretaker were both very responsive and helpful. For those new to Cat Island they both provide important and helpful context on how to prepare for the trip and what to expect- even including tips on getting there from Nassau.
