"Very cozy retreat with comfy beds and quiet to sleep to. We didn't cook, but did notice that there were ample supplies in the kitchen. The best part was the fireplace. We sat on the couch and stoked the fire all evening. It was so relaxing. Our host was very attentive and gave very clear directions."

"Enjoyed this cabin for a quiet little getaway with my husband. Although you aren't completely secluded from neighbors it still felt very private, and all the details were well-explained and exactly as advertised. One thing to keep in mind about the location is that it is pretty far from a real grocery store. This isn't a problem at all, just requires more planning ahead."

"The property is beautiful and we had a pleasant stay, but there are a handful of notes that would have turned this into a 5-star experience: 1) The property features two queen size beds and one twin bed. All of the mattresses are STIFF. Not firm, STIFF. We had some pretty rough nights on these. If you can't replace the mattresses, at least include some plush mattress covers. 2) The top tier balcony was off-limits, with P-touch stickers on the door demanding guests not open it. "We rented this house for a family wedding that was happening near by. We had 11 people staying in the house. The house is lovely with beautiful views. I think they do a wonderful job of preparing the house for guests, but with all rentals there are always pros and cons. I'll start with the pros: The bedding was very comfortable and soft. "The wife, dogs, and I stayed here to unplug during a rainy Memorial Day. This property is special! Felt like we were transported back to the 1800s (but with some key comforts like baseboard heaters). We enjoyed zoning out to the crackling fire and looking at the tides go by."

"We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak...

"The Hood Canal Beachfront Bungalow is a great place to stay if you are looking for a few quiet days. The cabin was very clean, and everything I needed for cooking was there. I really enjoyed the fireplace and the telescope. But most of all, the quiet was amazing. I would definitely recommend!"

Solid Choice!

"Excellent value at a great budget! Minimal but clean comfortable rooms with clean bedding and parking included! Very friendly staff at checkin and upfront with their policies and rules. It looks like a family runs the motel and they really care about their customers and run a good business. The room has a fridge and coffee maker. The walk in shower is very spacious. The gate for the parking lot really makes a difference in feeling safe and that my vehicle is secure. Don’t let the location deter you, this business earns their quality! Just what i needed to visit Seattle without breaking the bank!"
