"This property is exactly as advertised, and has a great view of the Caribbean waters and some of the rest of the Grenadines. The owners of the place are also very kind, attentive, and quick to respond in case of any trouble or need for help regarding anything and everything. One thing to note is that this property can feel a little far from the main areas of Bequia found around the port. So it is good to keep in mind that a taxi may be required for use when staying at this wonderful house. "

"All the privacy you could ask for. View of the Atlantic was beautiful. Kitchen well appointed and home nicely decorated. Now, it’s time for the owner to do some maintenance. 1 a/c until (in media room) did not work at all. Another a/c unit it the other wing dripped water inside and made a mess. Quite a few light switches did not work. There is a trick to the washing machine that was not told to us until late in the day before we left and with no dryer, our clothes wouldn’t have dried. "Don't be fooled by the advert. It's not what it seemed. We visited late December, 4 adults and 2 small kids. We had great expectations; large villa, hot tub for the grandchildren to play in. Unfortunately the tub didn't work and looked aged, had a very sharp tap pointing into the tub, the deck became very slippery when it rained and there was no protection on the back of the deck to prevent accidental falls, especially by the kids playing. "The Sugar Mill is a beautifully designed, airy and pretty unique villa high up overlooking the sea and islands to the East of Bequia. Being high up it gets a very necessary cooling breeze.
