Family stayed here to catch some home games of the Auburn Doubledays. We fished off the dock, used the kayaks and enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine. Very nice firepit and bicycles were available to use. Hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Very comfy stay with well equipped kitchen
We enjoyed our stay but the cottage itself was a good 30 minutes from all the sights. If you are looking for a relaxing, tranquil getaway, this is a perfect location. The setting is beautiful, although I thought the river would be more usable - it was pretty buggy out there and we were afraid of getting bit up. The cottage had everything inside that was needed - kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable.
The property is in a beautiful location and peaceful. Nancy and Roger very prompt responding to all questions and very helpful as well. That portion of the Senaca is heavy with lily pads, not much movement in the water so smelly, but still quite beautiful. Firepit was delightful in the evening. Kitchen well stocked. Bathroom well stocked. We loved the sunroom probably the best. Thank you for your hospitality!
Very comfortable little place. Clean, with everything you would need for a weekend get away. Excellent communication with owners. Peaceful and quiet remote location but still close to restaurants and the wine trail.
My family and I really loved the setting here. The owners very easy to communicate with. Water is hard, so if that is an issue for others, I would say to make sure to bring drinking water. Well worth the quiet, wooded setting.

This is a cute little cottage to unwind and relax 😎
We enjoyed our short stay at the cottage. It was set off a main route and located on the Seneca River. It was quiet with beautiful surroundings and we even saw an eagle fly by a few times. Unfortunately, the well water, which is listed in the description, smells like metal and rotten eggs and comes out brown at times. My sister has well water but it does not smell or turn colors. Most of us did not shower or even wash our hands in the water. That was the deal breaker and why we wouldn’t stay there again. When we arrived the toilet and shower were dirty so we Cloroxed everything, spending our first night doing that. The owners were very nice during communication and it’s a beautiful area but the place needs some deep cleaning and an updated septic system.
Hosts are friendly and were very accommodating with check in and any questions we had. Quiet and peaceful. Fire pit, with wood and kindling supplied, was perfect. Cabin is clean and well shocked. Enjoyable long weekend.
Lovely cabin in a very serene setting. The hosts are very thoughtful and even left firewood, bottled water and a local wine for us to enjoy - thank you! The fire pit is well built and it was so nice to be able to build campfires next to a serene river. The sun room is also great for escaping peak mosquito hour.
The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, kitchenware and utensils, but you'll need to bring your own cooking oil, spices, etc. You'll also need to bring your own shampoo, soap, etc., as it is not provided.
Very comfortable place for a relaxed stay in a beautiful setting.
Great out of the way spot to relax and unwind. Loved having the bikes and kayaks for teens and adults alike! Porch is lovely for morning coffee and to read- in cooler weather a great spot for the kids to sleep.
This property was just what the doctor ordered!Excellent hosts, easy to locate, adorable camp and nestled perfectly in a beautifully serene location. This is a perfect place to go if you enjoy camp fires, family time, board games, kayaking, biking, bird watching and relaxation. Definitely would rent again!

Nice, quiet, well-kept, no frills place. Owner was terrific. Be advised it’s well water. I didn’t care. Bottle water was provided when I stayed. Quiet-very quiet.
