"Superb location in Lynton. The best place to stay for access to the town, walks and funicular down to Lynmouth. Good view of the bay from up on the terrace too. "What a beautiful place to stay . The only room above a fully renovated pub. Both the room and the pub are beautifully done. It's a large spacious room . The classic cast iron slipper foot tub in the middle of the room was used everyday. Great way to wind down. A convenience store is across the street so is parking . Great food downstairs in the pub and the staff couldn't have been nicer. If Southerndown is on your radar . This is the spot!"

"2 families with 5 kids in total plus dog and 4 adults. House was ideal. On a main road but only used the back door which opened onto the garden so completely safe for kids and dog. Walks were amazing and town was delightful. Heating was on low when we arrived but warmed up quickly and there was coal for us to light the fire.
