The only negative with the room was the local dogs all bark at 2:00 am; I assume there were deer going through the area, but once one dog started, they all chimed in. "Was greeted by our lovely host who was very helpful. We originally booked for 3 nights, then I added another night. The day before our checkout, our flight was rebooked due to a hurricane in the US. "We stayed here for a couple of days prior to our cruise, and it was a great location for that. Check in was easy, although finding the door again can be tricky, look for the sign. One thing to note is that there is not a living/sitting room, we just sat around the dining table and chatted. Rooms are good sized ant the beds are comfortable. Better than a hotel room for a few nights, we'd stay there again."

"Warm welcome for non Italian speaking Australian guests. Brilliant views from our room. Much better than the photos. Room very clean and everything in good condition. Nice linen and towels. Very nice €20 three course set dinner menu. Would happily return and recommend to friends. "

Perfectly situated above the plaza and train station and at the end of the street, full of restaurants and things to see and do and a great view and wonderful staff and convenient and clean and an excellent value for the money. I loved this hotel. I stay at three star hotels to five star hotels and this was the perfect hotel for the visit to Genoa Italy. "

Excellent hotel

"I visited this hotel in April with my mother. We chose the superior room with a balcony and it was wonderful. Our room had a queen bed and a separate area with a twin bed and a second balcony. It was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful bedding, pillows and towels. The room had everything we could want: an espresso machine, kettle, fridge and all toiletries. We chose to add breakfast to our reservation and it was excellent with many choices and excellent coffee. The port area is lively and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants and shops and public transportation. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed 2 nights before our cruise and one night after. The personnel were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is next to the train station. 15 minute walk to the port and 20 minutes car ride to the airport. Walking distance to everthing. I would diffinently go back to this hotel if I were to go bake to Genoa."
