"Its a nice property inside and out. Hot tub worked well. The only downside is that the owners accused me of scratching their new table and withheld my security deposit. I dont think I did scratch the table. "

"This was a fantastic property, with enough room to accommodate an entire family and more. Fantastic fully equipped kitchen, screened in deck overlooking the lake with a bbq, and a hot tub outside overlooking the lake. Surprisingly we had no mosquitoes which meant sitting outside til dark was doable and pleasant. The pictures are accurate with the exception of the kitchen being way better than expected and the space being very large for a cottage. The host met us 30 mins away and drove in w us as...

"This was by far the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was a beautiful home and very well equipped. Everything we could possibly want or need was available plus extra. There were king sized beds, a fireplace with wood, a BBQ, a huge open kitchen, loads of dishes and cooking utensils, spices, condiments, paper products, etc.It was perfect for a family getaway and not far from both Ottawa and ski hills."

"Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter. "Multiple decks to enjoy sun or shay all times of the day. Beautiful clean lake with lots of fish and places to explore with provided kayaks and paddle board. Beautiful well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Tonnes of seating inside and out. Outdoor shower with a spectacular view is a must for everyone!!! Comfortable beds in spacious rooms with spectacular views of the lake. Host responded very quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!!!!"

"We had a large bachelor party at Martin's and it was perfect. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's very spacious, clean, and we had no problems with food storage and cooking. The beach and waterfront are amazing!! Martin's communication with me was great, we had everything we needed. "The cottage location was great as only a short drive for us. Near enough to the village but far enough away for privacy. Two issues with the cottage that impact the rating are the bathroom door does not shut without being slammed - it needs to be sanded and rehung. This is a major thing as we had to use a piece of duct tape to hold the door shut for privacy. Second thing is the air conditioner blasts the cold air into the stairwell going to second floor so the rest of the house gets minimal...
