"The property, the location and amenities were all perfect. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for a family of 4. Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. "Beautiful place to stay, fantastic facilities, fantastic site and views. The only downside I found was not being able to check in till 16:00, and having to be out for 10am. No real time to have a nice chilled out morning and enjoy the surroundings, and 3 dirty pans in the kitchen. Also broken glass out by the hot tub and a bottle full of cigarette ends. But other than that we loved it and would 100% recommend and stay again. "

"Lovely stay, only down side was it was chilly… wish I’d brought my slippers. Also there weren’t any walks (that we could find) on our doorstep. A shame when there is no secure garden (I was aware of) and you have a dog to walk. Also the bathroom location wasn’t ideal. Facilities were great, was clean and well looked after and we had a great stay there. Beds were comfy. Welcome shortbread on arrival too… thank you! Would stay again "

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....
