Property is located in very convenient place to access the various areas of Pondy. Staff are very polite and professional. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are slightly tired. Quality of the food was really good. Breakfast spread was nice. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights.

a 5* hotel but quality is not there !
even if it is reputed a 5* hotel, wifi was not working, AC was making some noise. One night at 3AM, we had to wake up to switch off the AC because it was making some noise. The key of our room was all the time desactivated. We had to go the reception each time.

4 star - Because wifi is very bad
Overall my experience is excellent . Room is super clean , comfortable bed , clean sheets. Dinning menu has lot of options and food is amazing . Like the Christmas feel and goodie from hotel. Cons: Terrible wifi . If you are planning to work , forget about it .

Room was awesome and comfortable. AC in the bedroom didnt work as well as the living area. Toilet flush didnt work in room 317. Room service coffee came cold but they quickly replaced it with a complimentary hot coffee. Overall a good stay.

Could be very noisy, right on busy round-about.
This hotel is located right on the main round-about coming into Pondicherry which is very, very noisy. Most rooms face onto this round-about, so if you are a light sleeper you must insist on a pool view room. It took me many attempts to get this. Room was fine and bed comfortable. Fair for the price but the steam room was a joke. Cold and the area around it dirty and dilapidated. The pool is tiny and too small to swim in, and the area around the pool is also dilapidated. It seems as this hotel goes from the impressive front to the back, it gets worse and worse. The dining room is nice and the complimentary buffet breakfast excellent with a delicious fresh omelette. It seems more geared to conferences and meetings than residential amenities for overnight guests and noisy right outside. Veena (or Veera) on front-desk, was helpful to secure a quieter room even though I had sent three messages and called two people in advance to request this, but it was not booked for me on check-in. They must fix the steam room or do not advertise it and add some life and amenities to the pool area at the back. Great potential here.
