"Had two superb days here on our second trip to Kawhia. Love the very clean and tidy house, the views and the three lawn mowers who came to visit! (sheep) Patsy, our host, made everything so easy adding to a wonderful feeling of relaxation. Beds very comfortable, kitchen very easy to work in. We were all most reluctant to leave and return to town on Sunday. Thank you so much for our lovely happy time, from all four of us. Jenny"

"as it says cosy and comfy...beds were super comfortable. it was quiet and homely, took a little bit to work out the shower and couldnt get tv to go, however if they left instructions on both that would help. great pressure in the shower , fridge had lots of little extras in it which would be good if we cooked and a great supply of milk. it had everything we needed and loved the style and bits and pieces in there .eg the record player and games books etc. thanks very much very helpful and...

"This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. Opening the windows and leaving them open helped as well. It was spacious and well able to accomodate 5 adults. The water was lovely to shower in and great for drinking. The location was just...
