"Spent our spring break at the property with friends and family. Ages ranging from 8 yrs old to 80. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The children played in the water, while the adults relaxed on the very spacious back porch. Everyone had such a good time. The house had all the amenities and was very well stocked. Kayaks, life vests, floats, grills, wood for the fireplace, games etc…The host was very attentive, and we definitely look forward to coming back!If you’ve never been to Nacogdoches, it’s less than a 30 minute drive from the property, and is definitely worth the drive."

"Local flooding occurred but was safe. Hotel was great. Nice breakfast, closed earlier than most hotels. Staff at front desk were more interested in their cell phones than helping customers. And the desk clerk parked out right outside the front doors, blocking a parking space. I had to walk in the heavy rain from the handicap parking spot to the lobby. "
