"Everything connected to the host (Angela) and her property was amazing. Everything connected with VRBO was terrible. Our inbox at vrbo had a several day delay so we did not have the code to enter the cottage when we arrived. We were remote, standing in the rain, with no way to get in and no where close to go to. When we called vrbo they seemed to pretend to not hear us and hung up on the first call. I said my name loudly and clearly several times and kept getting the reply “you’re breaking up” and repeatedly asking my name. We could hear them clearly. When we said “I hope this is being recorded he finally betrayed that he could in fact hear us clearly and finally gave us the code that Angela sent that wasn’t appearing in our vrbo inbox"

"I fell in love with this place. Location, location, location! There's no Italian marble in the bathroom. If you want to cook a huge dinner for guests, you're pretty much out of luck. There's no huge TV or luxury living room, and it's not in a swanky neighborhood. This has something much more valuable than any of those things: seclusion. I stayed here at the end of October. It took me over 3 hours to get from Cheticamp because of an early-season snowstorm. The next day I sat looking out the kitchen window at hailstorms, snow squalls and even a couple waterspouts go by. The little house creaked and groaned. I felt like I was at the end of the earth. But it was warm and safe and I could finally concentrate on my writing. My dog Auggie and I loved going to Cabot Landing beach, and had a bunch of apples from the trees along the driveway. We also liked exploring the little ATV trails around the house that go down to the harbor. At night, you can see the lights from the tankers and freighters going through the St. Lawrence Seaway. Meghan is an exemplary host and is quick to respond to inquiries. The only thing I didn't like about her is that she wouldn't sell me this gem of a property because it was '...in her family for generations..." or some such nonsense . Anyway, this place is truly special. I hope to visit it someday in the summer when the restaurants and other facilities are open. "

"This property came to me by default. It was the sweetest most private and comfortable unit in my 2 week travel. Everything I ever wanted or needed was included in the most delightful way. Parking was ample and easy and most conveniences and sightseeing were available by walking. Next time, this will be my first choice."

"Great location when youre travelling the Cabot Trail! The hosts are very kind and answer quick. Very clean, very cozy, hot tub is an added bonus and perfect way to relax after hiking. We would stay again if we are in the area."
