"A truly stunning setting, with well appointed rooms. I arrived late and was not able to enjoy all facilities. The late menu too 'heavy'. I would have remarkeda perfect stay had I been troubled by the lead at breakfast. Still - I would return."

"Beautiful hotel and facilities. Check in was simple. Room was clean and we loved the record player and drinks available. The cocktails in the bar were great. Our main issue was the service in the restaurant and the prices of the food. €45 for steak before sides is very steep and especially in a restaurant where the staff are dressed super casual and not very attentive. While the food we got was tasty, the prices just don’t fit with the casual feel of the hotel. "

"We were in Ireland for two weeks. And only stayed at this hotel one night however, this was by far the best hotel with amenities, noise, level, view of the river, and closeness to all sites that you might want to visit!"

"Nice functional hotel. Good sleep (bar being woken up at 2am by a loud man on corridor but that's not the hotels fault) Breakfast fine; nothing exceptional. Only negative really was that the water in shower was too hot. Spoke to reception twice (morning and evening) but to no avail. Water too hot & couldn't be changed second morning again. Gym & pool look lovely: I hadn't time. "

"We had a lovely experience. As it was my birthday, a lovely box of sweets & birthday card were present in the room. Really nice touch Quite, comfortable room. V silent corridor. Slept well. Great safe bathroom. "

"Overall I had a fantastic stay again, room comfort was good, bed very comfortable with nice linen. The room was a little on the warm side - which I have to say I prefer to a cold room but I know some people do not like it. You can of course open the window if you are too warm. The bathroom was a little dated in places but clean. The Bar food also has to get a mention - daily menu had a very good selection and a welcome change from the usual hotel offerings of just fried food. The strawberry...

"Just the most dingy place to stay at such an outrageous price! Maybe if it was cheaper it wouldn’t be so bad but at the price it’s ridiculous! The showers would only work when the hot tap was also running, one shower door was loose and fell off, not to mention the the mold and peeling paint. Just not worth it, spent the extra and stay in a hotel "

"The apartment is fantastic. It is very modern and in a excellent location next to the castle, river, bars, and restaurants. We highly recommend this place, especially for couples. My wife and I are on our 5th anniversary trip from the US, and this was our favorite place we have stayed in Ireland."
