"This little apartment was wonderful - cozy, clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need and spacious enough to really spread out. By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. The town of Silvermines is very quiet (only one pub that doesn't serve food, but is a hoot - my husband had a great time chatting with people). "The cottage was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The location was central to all the places we visited. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. "Trim Castle Cottage was a great place to stay when we visited the Trim area. We not only visited Trim, but also Newgrange and my wife’s ancestors’ home area in Westmeath. This made the location of the cottage perfect. The cottage itself had a spot to park the car, which was a must have. It was immaculately clean and very functional for the two couples on the trip. We would definitely rent again when we visit Trim in the future. "
