"Excellent communication and process. Smooth check in and check out. Clean rooms. Neat property. One thing they should mention is that the access to the property is quite inclined and will be a steep walk for people with luggage. Secondly, since the reception is virtual, it closes at 7.30PM and then becomes difficult to approach for any services required. It was an excellent experience otherwise and will definitely want to stay here again."

"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"We had a wonderful holiday at Podere Gualpoli. The villa is well-appointed with everything we needed to cook a few meals and relax outside of Florence. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The views are incredible! Annamaria and Simone were so welcoming. There were lovely welcome gifts and fresh eggs. When the washer broke, Simone finished my son’s laundry at home and returned it the next day. The washer was also replaced the next day. I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing Tuscan...

"We stayed for a week. The apartment location was central to everything in one of the popular piazzas in the city. Unfortunately there were a few issues such as the shower being so tiny it was hard to even turn around (smaller than a cruise ship shower), no toilet seat on the toilet in the first bathroom, and the screens on the windows were broken/torn. This was important because we couldn’t turn the air conditioner on due to the dates we stayed and the laws in Florence which meant we had to keep...

"Property was fine, nice and cool and very well situated. 66 steps up to the apartment was challenging and we are fit and able. Lugging suitcases was a challenge , and also at the end of a very hot day out sightseeing doing the stairs was difficult . We loved the central location … it was perfect! Instructions to open apartment door were complicated. We had a great stay and appreciated the bottle of Chianti from our host, Martina, who allowed us a later checkout. Grazie!"

"It’s difficult to express how much we loved this place. Nothing missing from the Tuscan fantasy. Charming old farm house overlooking green hills. Chickens, horses and a wonderful dog. A well-maintained pool, friendly hosts, lounge chairs, a hammock, a spa (for a price). Quiet! We could have stayed in this storybook for a month!"

"When we travel with our adult family, we stay at VRBOs. This is BY FAR our favorite VRBO! The location is within easy walking distance of the city center of Florence. Each bedroom room was spacious and no detail was overlooked in this GORGEOUS villa! There was a dining table inside, as well as one outside on the patio. We would eat outside, as it overlooked the Tuscany region! Simply BEAUTIFUL!"

"The location is amazing. House is surrounded by hills and valleys. Perfect view of Tuscany. Plenty of amenities. Very spacious and clean house. Stay is on the second floor so be prepared to carry the luggage. There are two bathrooms but only one shower. The shower drain was not properly draining so was a bit of an inconvenience since we were 8. Good for smaller groups. Highly recommend this stay.
