"I would not recommend anyone because the room Hibiscus No 15 and 11 were terrible poorly maintained there were lizards everywhere and mosquitoes. We asked for a mosquito diffuser and the receptionist told us they would send one which was in vain as nobody came along. The bedsheet was torn very old and most of all we all didn’t sleep as the bed was not comfortable one could feel the wire spring on our back. "This hotel also has long term guests because it is awesome. The owner / manager is always trying extra miles to help every guest, treat them like a family. My late checking in, my transport and my last day checking out has never been so looked after. The value is far beyond what’s been paid for. I have a kitchen, big fridge, balcony to hang clothes, closet to keep my stuff, a safe and much more. Would highly recommend. "

"Great property at a good location! Big apartment that was clean and well taken care of with access to shared pool and lounge facilities, along with private entry into the ocean. Staff were very helpful when needed. Wi-Fi was not the strongest if more than 1-2 people using it. Overall would recommend and would come back!"

"Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. "Absolutely brilliant. Staff were fantastic. Especially Veemal. He was so attentive and exceptional. The property is beautiful and does not disappoint from the choice of beaches, free water sports, tennis, paddle tennis, gym and the list goes on. It is also very good value for money on half board. The only exception is the cost of the drinks which I believe was excessive. That is my only criticism. We’ll be back. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at lux Belle Mare and it didn’t disappoint! Nothing is too much bother, the rooms and hotel spaces are five star and plenty of things to enjoy! The food is incredible and not your average buffet! Literally the best hotel for couples and families with five star expectations! Beautiful beach and pool "

The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius

"Where do i start. They took me around in golf carts so i dont have to walk in the sun and heat, they had the best staff team ive met in all my life, the food was amazing not a single thing to complain about. The hotel was clean, cool and there was lots of things to do. I was helped mostly by Yash, Rajvir, Sarvesh, Atish, Ben, avi and the house keeping lady. The hotel had a games room and snooker room that i used every night, entertainment every night at the retreat, bar open all day and night and coconut stall. The spa and massage was amazing, quite expensive but was amazing. I did not walk past a single staff member without them greeting me in such a kind way and bowing their heads. I truly felt like i owned the place. The two pools were the perfect temperature at all times and were very clean. Some of the people that stayed at the hotel were very rude to the staff members and i really feel bad they received this treatment. Overall, the hotel was the best hotel ive stayed at with the most friendliest staff ever. The hospitality is unmatched. You will not regret a single thing about booking this hotel. Thank you"
