"A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed. "A clean spacious suite with partial view of the ocean. Instructions for parking were clear and easy to find. It was a short walk to the beach as well as a good selection of restaurants. The suite could be good for a few days if you don’t plan to cook a lot in the room. A small kitchenette is available for light cooking. We felt totally safe at this location and the room was quiet. "

"Shouted the hubby one night away without the kids. Only an hour away from where we live. Amazing view, so nice & peaceful. Only downfall was the driveway to the place was narrow & we could not see upcoming vehicles approaching around the windy roads. The meals were overpriced a three course dinner (small portions) was $118 & breakfast was a-lot more. Otherwise overall a nice short getaway."
