"Property is beautiful! Actually picture perfect, with a good breakfast, and great value for the price . The best part is your staying on a winery and you can even smell the grapes fermenting. A great experience! The town Certaldo is so cute , we had a car and explored all around. I really recommend Maestrini Auto for a car rental in town. Recommend this hotel we loved it. "

"This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. "A relaxing place to stay! The grounds were beautiful and staff was great. I would say that having a car is important if you plan on using this as your home base to explore Tuscany. "Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"Great Staff, good continental breakfast options. Property is associated w/ a good small winery. Location is down a gravel farm road for about 1/3 of a mile from the local paved road. It's not a big deal, just be aware. There is ample parking in a gravel lot. "Overall our stay in Hu Firenze was great. The restaurant on location was really cool and tasted pretty great too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our little house was a big tent basically. Interesting but annoying when people would come check it out or tap on our house (happened a couple times). It was kinda funny but always awkward. We had a bed, closet, mini fridge, and bathroom. They had a shuttle to take you partially into town or you could walk to Firenze Rovezzano (train station)....
