Gillis Grier Bed & Breakfast

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (126)
"The Gillis Grier B and B was incredible. A stay here is an immersion in the Gilded Age. The 1885 house is extremely well preserved yet unobtrusively updated to provide maximum comfort and easy access to modern necessities like WiFi. I had to leave early in the morning for a race, but on our way home my wife could hardly stop raving about the breakfast she was served. Our hosts Rhonda and Luis made us feel at home, but better. They clearly enjoy being hosts, and we feel like we've made...

"I stayed here in lieu of a hotel room in Salisbury for a work trip and it was worth the drive, only about 20 minutes from Salisbury. Heidi is extremely hospitable, her breakfast is excellent, including authentic English tea. It was very quiet, air conditioning worked amazingly well considering this is an old home, c 1800’s. The decor is adorable. The town is quite charming. Heidi made dining recommendations and did her utmost to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My only regret is I...

Chanceford Hall Bed & Breakfast - The Chadwick

"Perfect location for our stay (2 adults) while we were touring nearby locations. Place was in clean and top condition and building has great touch of history. Owners are super nice and we felt very welcomed. After the first day of breakfast we felt we were part of their family. Breakfast: Top of the line breakfast which included 4 courses and met all our dietary needs (my spouse is gluten free and vegetarian). Bedroom comfort: comfortable/clean and had all needed amenities (extra pillows,...

"Beautiful & scenic views, pool was refreshing, Complimentary wine was unexpected, Dwayne was helpful & breakfast was delicious & made to order by Rick! Food & fun within walking distance and just a short drive to other sites. Some basic updates & repairs needed on the property but that’s expected for the age of the house. We’ll be back!"

Washington Inn and Tavern

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (254)
" The location was perfect for what we came there for. The property itself is very old and needs a total renovation. The carpet throughout the facility was filthy and the mildew smell was everywhere. The people we met where very friendly and the staff was very nice. We stayed because there was no where else to stay. Not to mention the annoying siren. For a moment we thought it was "The Purge". The hotel needs a lot of work. Sorry, just being honest..."

Key West Cottages

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (348)
"We were responsible for all housekeeping for more than a week, but they were stingy with supplies to do our own housekeeping. I had to list what items I intended to clean (sink, toilet, light switches, etc) in order to access cleaning items. At one point, the hospitality worker directed us to Dollar General to go buy our own cleaning supplies. They didn’t even have spare sheets. We asked for clean linens and then we had to turn our sheets in so we could get them back hours later. We were there...

Blufin Bungalows & Marina

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (91)
"We spent 3 nights in 2 over-water bungalows…4 generations ages 2 to 85. The houses were well equipped and maintained. Beds were comfy, tvs were great for nighttime watching. The front porch was a great place to hang out, eat, etc. my only suggestion is maybe put a rope ‘net’ at the end of the floating piers between the houses to make them a little safer for little children. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend a visit for this unique experience."

Chincoteague Island House "Sir Whelk-A-Lot" Kayaks Included! Downtown Location!

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (41)
"We had a great time at Sir Whelk-A-Lot! It was the perfect little cottage for our family of 6 and we will definitely come back! Our older boys really enjoyed having their own space upstairs, although you have to be really careful on the short, steep, carpeted stairs to the room. We had several slips when coming down. The location is great! Lots of stuff in town was within walking distance and the fact that bikes were included made everything but the beach easily accessible. For those not...
