"Friendly staff in a lovely hotel."

"We had an emergency situation and needed a hotel for the night and arrived quite late. The gentleman manager let us in and was so helpful, offered to arrange a taxi first thing in AM and carried our heavy luggage upstairs. The room was a little barebones but clean and fine for a few hours sleep. In the morning the taxi arrived perfectly on time and again the nice manager helped with luggage. We finally got to appreciate the view, heard some interesting information from manager who was lifelong resident and the upstairs restaurant is quite lovely. I would recommend this charming hotel, the service is above and beyond and view really special for this quaint seaside island town. "

"This is a lovely hotel, welcoming, full of character, and lovely rooms. Our visit was somewhat spoiled by a noisy air conditioning. The temperature was set at 28c we woke up at 3am, hot and sweaty. initially, we were unable to switch it off, or turn it down. We eventually got back to sleep, but woke up shattered. The hotel were excellent in sorting out a partial refund, but we would rather have had a good night’s sleep."
